At the Bleuetière Giard, we have farm animals on-site from the end of spring until fall. They spend their winter at another farm, with larger indoor accommodations.
During the blueberry and raspberry seasons, the farm animals are a favourite stop for all our visitors. The majority of our animals are social and curious. They are all female. They are always ready for a photo opportunity and love a snack from our grain machines.
We ask that visitors do not bring outside food for our animals. Depending on their individual dietary needs, they all have access to a varied diet of hay, grains, fresh fruits, and vegetables.

The goats
We have so many goats at the farm. Most of our goats are born on the farm and have names. We have both regular goats and miniature goats. Our miniature goats have a lot of personality while the larger goats are more friendly.
The rabbits
We have two rabbits who live at the farm who can be found in their park between the first and second blueberry fields. They are curious but can be cautious when approaching our visitors.
Our miniature horse
We have a miniature horse on the farm. Her name is Sweetheart and was a gift from Luc, one of the owners, to his wife, Nicole, when they first bought the farm. She eats a lot while outdoors and finds joy in running after the goats during the summer.
Our chickens
We have, every year, about 20-30 chickens. They live in the coop next to the second blueberry field. They lay the eggs than can be found at the boutique from June to September.
