Our blueberry plants
At the Bleuetière Giard, we have over 5,000 blueberry plants in 3 fields. The majority of our blueberries are picked by visitors during the months of july and august.
We cultivate about 10 varieties of blueberries every summer.
We work most summers to remove older plants and replace them with new varieties. This allows us to provide a blueberry for every taste.
U-pick blueberries
The majority of our blueberries are picked by our visitors. We open our fields for u-pick around mid-july and the season lasts about 4-6 weeks. We have 3 fields, 2 of which are prioritised for u-pick by our visitors.
We provide baskets (2L and 4L) for picking your blueberries but it is also possible to bring your own containers.
The first field, closest to the shop and the reception, is the family field. It is near the animals, the small park, and the toilets to make your visit as smooth as possible.
The second field, which is surrounded by the sugar bush, is reserved for adults and allows for a relaxing blueberry-picking experience. We have golf carts to drive you to your destination.
Groups are welcome and reservations for more than 10 people are appreciated. You can reserve by phone or by email. If an English translation is necessary, please confirm the availability in advance while reserving. It will be our pleasure to help.

Prepicked blueberries
We also offer, at the shop, blueberries that are already picked. All our blueberries are hand-picked (no machines) and sorted to offer a quality basket to all our visitors.
The third field is reserved for our pickers and has a mix of varieties.
If you are interested in a large quantity of pre-picked blueberries, please contact us during the season to reserve.
Our blueberries are not available anywhere else, visitors must come to our farm to buy them.
