This maple chicken is so simple to make and is awesome for busy weeknights. It goes well with basmati rice and vegetables such as broccoli and carrots
- 4 chicken breasts
- 3/4 cups of maple syrup
- 1 cup of dijon mustard
- 1 tbsp. of red wine vinegar
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Mix all the ingredients in a large bowl.
- Marinate in the refrigerator for a few hours.
- Place in the slow cooker at low for 6-8 hours.
Note: This recipe can be mixed in advance in a freezer friendly bag and frozen until your ready to cook it. On the day of, place in the slow cooker still frozen and cook for the same number of hours!
