{"id":2703,"date":"2023-10-02T18:36:05","date_gmt":"2023-10-02T18:36:05","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/bleuetieregiard.ca\/?post_type=cpt_services&#038;p=2703"},"modified":"2023-10-02T18:36:05","modified_gmt":"2023-10-02T18:36:05","slug":"sausage-stuffed-bell-peppers","status":"publish","type":"cpt_services","link":"https:\/\/bleuetieregiard.ca\/en\/recettes\/sausage-stuffed-bell-peppers\/","title":{"rendered":"Sausage stuffed bell peppers"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Ingredients:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>3 bell peppers (red, yellow, or orange)<\/li>\n<li>1 lb of sausage meat<\/li>\n<li>1 medium onion, diced<\/li>\n<li>2 cloves of garlic, sliced<\/li>\n<li>1 jalapeno, sliced with or without seeds (based on desired heat)<\/li>\n<li>2 cups of fresh tomatoes, diced<\/li>\n<li>1 tsp of dried basil<\/li>\n<li>Salt and pepper<\/li>\n<li>\u00bc cup of parmesan cheese, grated<\/li>\n<li>\u00bd cup of Italian mixed cheeses, grated<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Instructions:<\/p>\n<ol>\n<li>Heat oven to 350\u25abF<\/li>\n<li>Cut the bell peppers in half and remove the membranes and the seeds.<\/li>\n<li>Place the bell peppers on an oven-safe dish and sprinkle with salt and pepper.<\/li>\n<li>In a frying pan, cook the sausage meat for 5-10 minutes. Remove the meat and keep some fat in the bottom of the pan. cook the onions in the pan for about 1 minute. Add the garlic and cook another minute. Add the tomatoes, and season with salt, pepper, and basil. Cook for another 10 minutes.<\/li>\n<li>Return the meat to the pan and mix. Cook for 5-10 more minutes. Turn off the heat and add the parmesan.
